Hi Jackie,

Many thanks for sorting the bags out for us, they looked great. Could you please supply me a copy of the invoice as I’m currently working through my expenses for year end.

Kind Regards

Rush Job For Major UK Event Organiser

When one of the UK's major events organisers approached us for an urgent requirement for a certain Homebuilding Show later this month, we were only to pleased to help.

Within a couple of weeks, the litho printed paper bags were on their way - 1000 by air with the rest following on by road to be delivered a few days later.

The customer was so happy, they sent us an email:

Calls for Welsh Environment Minister to scrap tax on bags

After the Environment Agency’s research on supermarket carrier bags was released, it has led packaging sector leaders to call on the Welsh Environment Minister to scrap the carrier bag tax due to be introduced in October this year.

The research has found a cotton shopping bag has to be re-used at least 131 times to have less environmental impact than a standard single-use plastic bag.

"If it goes ahead, Wales will suffer higher environmental damage not less. These are the unintended consequences which her counterparts in Westminster and Scotland acknowledged a long time ago.”

Update to blog about Northern Ireland proposed levy on plastic bags

An update to our blog posted a few weeks ago regarding the deferment of the levy on plastic bags in Northern Ireland.

Despite reassurance from both the DuP and Sinn Fein it would seem they have now given the levy full support. Needless to say we are not impressed & will vigorously oppose (along with all the retailers in Northern Ireland). Can what they say about our politicians be true??
